It also serves as the voice of the students to the University of Tennessee system. It is composed of the Executive, judicial, and Legislative branches. The Executive Branch consists of a thirteen member cabinet of six elected and seven appointed officials. The Legislative Branch known as SGA Congress is made up of 23 members elected by the student body SGA sponsors many events which include concerts IBarkaysI, comedy jams, the Miss UTM pageant, Freshman Handbooks, USA cards, Black History Mon th, Daytona Beach Day the All Nitezp and works throughout the year on is sues and ideas for the students welfare. This yeazp SGA was able to take an active role in the search fora new UT System President.
