The brothe of ATO participate in various varsity and intramural athletics, i well as holding positions and offices in such student organizations i IFC, SGA, VAC, and PER ATO at UTM. holds severalfundraising events with the proceei going to special olympics. The ATO's are the current IFC All spor champions. Sigma Alpha Epsilon 306 Greek The Tennessee Tau Chapter of Sigma Alpha Epsilon was foundea the campus of UTM on September 30, 1972. Today it not only plaj major role in the Universities Greek System, but it also continues ti one of the fastest growing Fraternities on campus. On March 9, 1856, Sigma Alpha Epsilon was founded at the Unii sity fo Alabama at Tuscaloosa and stands to be the largest Fraternity the nation with almost 200 active chapters and over 206,000 initia Tennessee Tau is involved in many campus activities such as llnive ty Scholars, All-Sing, I.E.E.E., ASPA, Phi Mu Alpha, IFC and intraz ral sports. SAE currently holds the position of IFC Rush Chairma Scholarship is considered a very important part of college life by Q as they have proved by maintaining one of the highest scholastic a ages in the fraternity system. SAE has now upgraded its pledge prog by requiring all pledges to achieve a 2.25 GPA the quarter they pled order to obtain membership.
