LPH MICRO PI 298 Alpha Omicron Pi so C l. aff . if? I-li! We are the sisters ofthe Tau Omicron chapter ofAlpha Omicrori Pi. This year Tau Omicron celebrated 21 years of success, sisterhood and service on the Ll.TM. campus. AOPi is active on campus. Our members are proudly displaying our colors of red and white at all campus activities. We are proud to have won first place in the sorority division of All-Sing. We also won the Sportsmanship Award for intramural basketball. Two of our members participated in the Miss HIM. pageant and one was named second runner-up. AOPi also show their colors by having sisters on the Homecoming Court and by participating in Phi Sig Follies, pyramid, float building and Pacer athletic competitions. Campus involvement is encouraged by AOPi. Our members can be found in every campus organization. AOPi's are PEP leaders, SGA Cabinet Members, LIAC Members, Campus Ambassadors, and members of pre-professional organizations. We have sisters on the Varsity Cheerleading Squad, Pom-Pon Squad, Volleyball and Tennis Teams, Annual Staff, Pacer Majorettes and fraternity little sisters. Service is an important part of AOPi. We are proud to receive the university Service Award for the third consecutive year: Five of our sisters received individual service awards, Some of our service activities include: Trick-or-Treating, Road Blocks, Raffle Tickets, andthe Annual Miss Weakley County Pageant. All of these projects benefit our philanthropy, and Arthritis Foundation. AOPi is proud to claim the highest scholastic average at UTM., and demonstrates outstanding leadership with members in Whos Who Among American College Stu- dents, University Scholars and members on the Deans List. To continue maintaining our standards of scholarship, we prefer each prospective pledge to have a 2.5 GPA upon graduation from high school and to maintain a 2.0 GPA while pledging to be initiated.
