Freeman Hall Forty-seven men live in Freeman Hall, the smallest and oldest dorm on campus. The building has stood since 1928 through the several phases of UTM's history. During past years Freeman has excelled in intramural sports. Carl Anthony Bishop a current resident, has held the National College Checker Championship consecutively since 1967. Other notables include President Larry Walker, and sponsors j. R. Stokes and Mark Parnell. Among the dorms at UTM, Freeman Hall boasts a unique black-and-white T.V. Freeman Hall Officers ohnson, Bubba Carson, Edward Tibb Sammy McGuire, and Larry Walker.

Atrium Counselors: Mary Ann Davis, Mrs. Coats, Polly Smith, Char- lotte Collins, and Lavinia Ferguson. Atrium Hall The new Atrium Dorm houses in pleasant motel-like accommodations more than 300 girls whose hostess is Mrs. Verlie Coats. Under President Debbie Reese the dorm carried on such routine activities as judicial hearings, intramurals, and seasonal parties during 1969-70. The Open House on Homecomng Weekend gave the campus an inside look at Atrium, with its fabled courtyard and its ice machine. 7.68
