What other university has halls that look like a Moorish castle? And where else could you smoke live cigarettes while walking non-stop between the Spanish Colonial Room and the sci- ence lab without leaving the building? It INFIRMARY Whether to be sick or not is always an approach-withdrawal syndrome. If you check in at the infirmary, you might escape the anguish of a boring three-hour lecture totally without guilt. But after you wait for the nurse to find your card — wait for the nurse to take your temperature — wait for the doctor — wait for the diagnosis — you could be really sick. And by the time the doc- tor comes up with the prescription, you could be dead. JOURNALS Freedom of the press is cherished by every UT student. So that our voices can be heard campus-wide, we have our own newspaper, The Minaret, which reports weekly on all the doings under the 13 Moorish domes — all. that is. except anything having to do with the faculty, administration, drugs, racism, religion, violence or sex. Find- ing the official UT student house organ somewhat lacking in visceral ampli- tude. a group of nitty-gritty journalists have begun publishing a supplement they call The Difference.
