Many of you will become directly involved through service in the Armed Forces. But all of you could, ond should, be- come personally involved in the task of solving the problems of our society. As college graduates you ore well equipped to use your knowledge and individual influence to uphold our fundamental values and to oppose trends and actions which would denigrate them. Many will maintain that the individual no longer has influence and can only float with the stream of current events. But this is not true, and its falsity is demonstrated daily. I hope each of you will measure up to the opportunities of the future. As never before, it needs people who will ac- cept personal responsibility, stand unflinchingly for that which is right, and -work unceasingly for a better world. In so doing, may the years yield for you great satisfaction. DA VID M. DELO President SENIOR CLASS OFFICERSi Jon KicfFer, P osident; Sordro Klemenllj, Secretory; Dovld Dutch, Vice Projldont.
