FELLOW STUDENTS, inasmuch as we are all engaged in the hard work of earning an education, it is my hope and desire that this issue of the Moroccan will long live in your memory; that this issue will be one that you can be proud of. TO YOU WHO ARE GRADUATING, may you ever press on toward the mark you have set for your goal and through efforts of your hard work achieve that goal. Do that which is good and honorable in the sight of all men. TO THE ONES LEFT BEHIND, let us look to the ones who have gone before and set a mark to gain as high or higher than those who have studied, labored and attained the mark of distinction as being graduates of The University of Tampa. I hope this year will be one of the greatest in the History of The University of Tampa. Through the efforts and hard work of each and all, this can be accomplished. May it be so. With this in mind let us all work, as fellow students, with each other, with the faculty and with the administration to the betterment of ourselves and our posterity. May this year's annual be one in which we find ourselves closer associated than any that has gone on before. To this I have devoted my time and energy. The Editor

Farewell Message from President Nance It always seems appropriate to me that our major com- mencement ceremonies come in the springtime when nature is performing her perennial miracles of revival, renascence and resurrection. Certainly everyone knows that the mind and heart of our nation are receiving new life and inspiration, fresh courage and new ideals through such dedicated young ladies and gentlemen as you who are graduating in the June Class of 1952. Dr. Ellwood C. Nance President of tho University, whose untiring efforts ond devotion ore predominant in the existence of the B University today. We hope, of course, that the seeds of learning, planted in your fertile minds, will bear fruit that will contribute toward the healing and restoration of our sick and weary world. We also hope that the years which you have spent here will always be pleasant and inspiring memories, and that you will return to them, in reflection, for wisdom and courage to solve what problems may seem to hinder your personal or professional progress. May God bless and use you for the enrichment and the welfare and progress of humanity. Sincerely, Dr. Ellwood C. Nance
