Included on the reading list for this year were a novel by Theodore Dreiser and several dramas by Henrik Ibsen, August Strindberg, Sean O'Casey, J. M. Synge, Eugene O'Neill, Clifford Odets, and George Bernard Shaw. Many of the meetings were held in homes of friends of the University; however this year we were also fortunate enough to be allowed to meet in the newly acquired Shadwell Hall. V n Wymwzmwym

METROPOLITAN CLUB The Metropolitan Club, now one of the most ac- tive on campus, was founded with the purpose of broadening the social life of the women students, while enriching their spiritual lives through chari- table projects. The active membership is composed of the women day students from the Houston area, while other women students may be associate mem- bers. The monthly meetings are held in the mem- bers, homes.
