It strives to attain this end by means of self sanctification, sanctification of neighbor and the defense of the Church. In pursuance of these objec- tives the members practice frequent recep- tion of the sacraments, especially the monthly reception of Communion in a body, and veneration of the Holy Name of Jesus. As secondary objectives the members of the society this year participated in the Christ the King celebration, the Houston District Holy Name Union, and the Di- ocesan Council of Catholic Men Conven- tion. The members also furnished servers for the daily masses on campus, and Sun- day masses at the Veterarfs Hospital.
