Songfest Brings Christmas Spirit to Southern The ladies of Chi Omega put on yet another successful Songfest. Many independent groups participated in- cluding The Fellowship. who were the first group of independents to ever perform at Songfest in the previous year. The groups ranged in size and were categorized as either small or large groups. Awards were given for Best Performance in both categories, Most Cooperative, and Most Original. The ladies of Pi Beta Phi and the men of Alpha Tau Omega carried away the Best Performance Awards. Songfest was Chi Omega and USM's contribution to the Hatties- burg Christmas Season. Along with the Christmas wishes went a large check to the Muscular Dystrophy As- sociation. Right: One ofthe very touching moments was when Dwayne White played the piano and sang DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR. Dwayne was a member of the independent group, The Fellowship. Below: The ladies of Pi Beta Phi Sorority, under the direction of Laura Ingram, performed MASTERS IN THIS HALL. They received Best Performance for a small group. lk Campus Life
