'BL ' 1 Q ft Looking Toward The 80' S The US. citizen of the 70's has seen the rule of three presi- dents-Nixon, Ford, and Carter. In 1980, another election will be held. The question then arises: Who is the man who can best insure the future of our country? Who can deal with the problems which are facing us? Who can insure that our children will have the same benefits we have had as Citizens of the U.S. VVe face important decisions on a university level as well. Our enrollment has increased in the past few years to the point that in the fall of 1979 enrollment at Southern ex- eeeded 10,000 students. VVe are growing in quantity but will we grow in quality as well? Will the 1980's distinguish the University of Southern Mississippi as the best university in the South? ,tus
