New courses were added in sev- eral divisions, a-nd all deparfmenfs were able fo improve fheir offerings fo some exfenf. Our young buf rapidly growing Graduafe School confinued ifs developmenf, and now ranks as fhe largesf 'graduafe school in Mississippi. Over fhe pasf year, some 700 sfudenfs worked on ad- vanced de-grees in I5 fields. Soufhern's Evening College, whose course of- ferings doubled in fhe pasf year, now is fhe largesf residence evening college in fhe sfafe. And, even as Soufhern confinues fo grow, fhere is sfill presenf fhaf friendly relaifionship befween adminisfrafion, sfudenfs, and faculfy. Many are fhe campus visifors who have marveled af how many sfudenfs' firsf names are used regularly by feachers and ofher school officials. To-gefher, all of us are working for a- bigger and beffer Mississippi Soufhern College. Sfudenfs, alumni, feachers-all-look forward fo fhe fruifion of our leaders' fondesf dreams for MSC.
