AT PLAY ln the first Week of school, the Dean of Women's Tea is a time for the new girls to get acquainted. For the Whole student body there is the all-college get-together under the direction of the Student A Council and the Christian Federation party. V5 X Q 5 . 5 b Q y sl At Thanksgiving and Christmas are the traditional r banquets in the dining hall and the Pan-Hellenic Tea in the presidents home. Football season is a time of keen enjoyment and a period during which school spirit is crystal- ized. M. S. C. always has a good football team which gains many honors for the college, and yet maintains the ideals of good sportsmanship. Not only the home games but all games are followed with keen interest by students, parents, alumni, faculty and townspeople. Many victories are added each year to the credit of the Southerners. ln December, the same spirit of loyalty carries over from the football field to the basketball court in the gym.
