Football season is a time of keen enjoyment and a period during which school spirit is crystal- ized. M. S. C. always has a good football team which gains many honors for the college, and yet maintains the ideals of good sportsmanship. Not only the home games but all games are followed with keen interest by students, parents, alumni, faculty and townspeople. Many victories are added each year to the credit of the Southerners. ln December, the same spirit of loyalty carries over from the football field to the basketball court in the gym. The baseball team moves into the spotlight when the season opens shortly after the beginning of the Spring quarter. 'EQ rigs X n 1-J lt ,fc rxff l K ' 'VNX ,ff-hu J K K 'ENN l f' V' ll 'X ., . -ix l.
