Where Else, but The UC, University Center, could not be more appropriately named for it is the center of university life at USF. Something is always happening there, whether it is inside or outside. There are weekly meetings, the flea market, crafts shop and game room available for student use. Special events are staged primar- ily around the UC for increased input and participation. The University Center Activities Board functions as the planner of these events with the help of the many organizations and per- sonnel employed there. Children 3 Festival Each year, the College of Education sponsors a Children's Festival open to the children of Hillsborough County. This year's fesnval entertained more than 3000 children ranging from 2 to 14 years of age The children participated in activities designed for fun and education, which included cheerleading instruction obstacle courses and arts and crafts.
