The glare of a burning victory sign is reflected on the faces of the crowd at the pep rally, and months of planning for Larry Speckels and his enthu- siastic committee members becomes reality. y]

There Is a flash of brass buttons and shining Instru- ments as bands file briskly down the street. After- noon finds Governor Nils Boe accompanying Presi- dent and Mrs. I, D, Weeks to the football game where Miss Dakota, Ruth Ann Ellweln, graciously welcomes alumni and friends to the homecoming festivities. 20
