Although the School of Business has long been part of the acadennlc program at the State University of South Dakota, the conn pletion of the new School of Business building in 1957 fulfilled the annbitions of the administration. Built at a cost of $650,000 to accommodate a double enrollment in future years, the distinctive feature of the building is its singular placement of all the business subjects, essentially ade- quate for effective business education.
