A holf-time show, presented by the University Marching Band with the co-operation of the Physical Education Department, featured marching drill formations, square dancers, and a three-ring circus The simultaneous action in the three rings included boton twirling, modern dances, and a trampoline act. Having had no parade the previous Dakota Day because of bod weather, everyone put forth all the more energy to make this parade one to be re- membered. Even the bench line joins the gome in spirit. Miss Dokoto receives homage. 1 Scabbard ond Blode members form an orch for Queen Mortho Clork, escorted by Drum Major, Chad Boese. Strollers provide diversion during the gome. Dakota Day, October 15, 1960, was one that will be remembered as especially successful, regardless of the game lost to the Coyote ' s traditional rivals, the State Jockrobbits. This disappointment was far out-weighed by a beautiful, brisk day, better- than-ever house decorotions, a near-spectacular parade and on aura of excitement and anticipation.
