College of Arts and Sciences School of Business Administration As Dean of the College of Arts and Sci- ences and the School of Business Adminis- tration, E S, Sparks has innumerable duties. His students know him as both administrator and instructor. His ready smile and friendliness make friends for him at every contact. School of l.aw Dean Mcliusick has been associated with the Law school since l902 and has served as dean of that school for twenty-four years. He is eminently authoritative in his field and is ever faithful to the best inter- ests of his profession, as well as to the institution which he serves. WINFRED R. COLTON College of Fine Arts Dean Colton has accomplished much in building up the College of Fine Arts to its present high level, and it can honestly be said that music at the University owes its impetus to him -a man of talent and Durposeful energy. School of Medicine As Dean of the School of Medicine and Director of the State Health Laboratory, Dr. Ohlmacher has become recognized throughout the state as a medical author- ity. He painstakingly transfers to students the art of his profession and has kept the school on the high level which merits its A rating by the Association of American Medical Schools. ARTHUR M. PARDEE Graduate School Although intensely interested in scientific research, Dr. Pardee has found time to develop a most thorough graduate division in the University. EVA GLASSBROOK Dean of Women Miss Eva Glassbrook has served os Dean of Women at the University for nine years. She has been successful in her purpose-to assist young women in developing to the highest degree intellectually, morally, and socially. During the last semester she was granted a leave of absence to study towards her doctor's degree at Columbia University. Gladys Leonard, professor of physical education for women, served as acting dean. J H JULIAN Vice-President, Dean of Student Affairs Cap Julian, well-known to all University students, has been on the campus for more than thirty years. l-le came first as a student and has now served as professor, secretary, vice-president, acting president, and dean of student affairs, Students have found him equally valuable as friend, counsellor, and leader. l-le has won their confidence and remains ever popular. iDQQn5.........
