COYOTE 1 9 3 4 IN MEMORIAM l-lovvard Reginald Bostian Died December 14, 1932 A competent artist, a thorough and successful teacher, a loyal and generous member of the facultyfj H- G. James, president. Howard Reginald Bostian, Mus. B., A. B., professor of piano and organ, taught at the University, his alma mater, for thirteen years, until his death at the age of forty-one. Besides obtaining degrees from the University of South Dakota, Professor Bostian studied under Isadore Phillippe, in Paris, and Frank Wilbur Chase, Dr. F. S. Palmer, Richard Platt, Casadesus, and Camille Decreus. He was organist and church leader at the Vermillion Congregational church, and served as a radio expert during the World War. Page Six
