FORE ORD The students of seven Regional Campuses whose activities are here recorded proudly pre- sent this Fifth Edition of their special GARNET AND BLACK. Each individual campus community is developing its own traditions as a part of the Greater University as this history of another important year will show. The aim of the Regional Campus System is to provide qualified students with the first two years of University training or terminal programs in such fields as Commercial Education and Nursing. The existence of Regional Campuses has made it possible for their students to enjoy a quality education at a reasonable price. Each campus combines the personal attention of the small col- lege and the resources of a large University. In the development of the Regional Campuses the University has been greatly assisted by Higher Education Commissions in each local area. Pres- ent Commission members are: AIKEN: Robert E.
