Established in May, l96l, the Center began its tirst year with an enrollment of W6-and this year added almost a hundred students lwith a ratio of lour boys to every girll. In the midst ol an education-conscious section, the Aiken Center has been well received by the people ol the area, and it has exceeded all expecta- tions in its rapid growth and development. ln addition to the usual course oi study For tirst and second year students-and a two-year secre- tarial training course-the Center has been Fortunate in being able to otter several extra electives, such as Russian and journalism.
