The duties of this boa1'd correspond to those of the Upper School Prefects, which are to act as the medium between master and pu- pils. This organization does much to keep order and to increase the standards of the Middle School. But every one of the lower classmen looks forward to the time when his class will enter the year for which it is named. The class of ,410 realizes now the strength of the tie that binds each boy to his class. More proof of this is shown on Alumni Day when old grads come back and sit at tables according to classes. Most close friendships are formed among classmates, and although the talents of the various persons who make up a class are different, all members of a class feel a real pride when their class rates high scholastically or athletically.
