The College Christian Association is one of the most active organizations on the campus. ln addition to its Sunday evening programs, the C.C.A.'s deputation teams present religious programs in churches throughout the area. Chapel services are held each week, and special days of religious em- phasis are observed each semester, bringing outstanding Christian leaders to the campus. Both students and faculty are expected to attend these ser- vices. Students are encouraged to attend the church of their choice each Sunday. . it

Miss Elizabeth Jenkins, May Queen of 1956, was escorted to the throne by Student Council President, Jack Gossett, and was then crowned by Presi- dent P. R. Lyne. Several skits by the dorms were presented as a program for the lovely queen and her court.
