Riohmon olle e Student Government Under the capable leadership of President Mac Pitt, Jr. and the other officers of Student Govern- ment the regular duties and problems of the group have been successfully solved. The Senate has been respon- sible for the purchase of two new bulletin boards, additional lights along the campus walks, and the conducting of Fresh- man elections without pressure of politics. A new law was also passed which restricts the number of absences of a senator to a minimum of two meetings. But the most outstanding thing this body did was to spon- sor the Cafe Millhiser for the purpose of raising enough money to meet the needs of the student body. This venture was such a big success and everyone had so much fun that this is expected to become an annual event. The Honor Council has silently served the stu- MAC PITT, JR. The success- ful working of this group has been largely respon- sible for the maintenance of the principles for which the university stands.
