FQREWCRD if At this very moment in our world history, when brutal and barbaric destructions are hourly occurrences, there are very few sure things on which we can fall back. Things like Saturday foot- ball in October, a hearth-fire on a January night, or an eight-thirty class on a Spring morning--- these are truly American institutions. lt is the editors' purpose to preserve in this volume such similar moments of our college days, the mem- ories of which will come to life after all the mad- ness and chaos has been put behind us.
