ASSE Though our activities as classes are indeed lim- ited, and their scope somewhat narrow, there arelno projects in college which we remember so long and so vividly as those sponsored hy fellow- cla lsmates . . . those with whom we came in as ras, humbled and ohsequious laeliore the terri- fyi g Sophomores, for whom we jumped through numerous hoops to their somewhat sadistic gratification . . . those whom we saw assume the leaclling roles in guiding us through those same pacles as we ourselves hecame Sophomores and achieved an individuality of our own . . . with whom we sponsored various proms both as Sophomores and Iuniors . . . and sufliered through numerous quizzes and exams of various sorts, usually minimising study to a last-minute Hcrammingu the night before . . . with whom we participated in, or remained aloof from, campus pdlitics in its many and diverse forms . . . those who, as they became mature in college years, came to head various campus organisa- tions and activities which concerned not merely the class, but the student body as a whole . . . presidencies, chairmanships, honorary fraternity keys, leaders in campus opinion and influence . . . those with whom we have worked the most earnestly, played the most heartily, sung the mort lustily . . . those to whom we have confided our, most intimate thoughts and feelings in pro- longed hull-sessions lasting liar into the night . . X. those with whom we will receive in Iune diplomas which end a pleasant four-year asso- ciation-and those for whom, though perhaps we Nmay never see them again, we will always cherish a certain amount of affection as class- mates at Richmond. . .
