FOREWORD ' I ' HE appearance of another volume of The Grist indicates that once more a senior class is making its farewell message to the student body and faculty of Rhode Island State College. Within a few weeks this group will take leave of the Alma Mater which it has grown to love, and it will go out into the world buoyed by the pleasant memories of four years of college life. Within the covers of the thirty-sixth volume of The Grist we have attempted to portray a cross-section of student life as it exists in Kingston.
