SCHOUL OF Wfalter S. Thompson became the dean of the ever-growing School of Engineering this year and followed a policy of expanding but not chang- ing former policies. This year the school will graduate its largest class, a class which ranks third in seniors at Portland in 1952. The school is centralized in the newest building on campus, the 3500,- 000 three-story Engineering building. It offers courses leading to a degree of bachelor of science in general en- gineering.
