It had formerly been the Sci ence division of the College of Arts, Sciences and Philosophy, but continued growth of the University and increasing interest in the sci ences made the establishment of a distinct college imperative. It now offers programs leading to the degree Bachelor of Science in Zoology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics. Master of Science degrees are also offered in Chemistry and Zoology. 23
