G. Dixon Shrum. Proaidont Howard Zieglor, Vicc-prosidont THE GENERAL ALUMNI ASSOCIATION The graduation of a Pitt students marks a transition from the undergraduate world to the greater world of the alumnus. The graduate will always have a memory of, and an interest in the University of which he was once a part. Made up of ten constituent alumni groups, the General Alumni Association was formed to keep this interest ever alive and growing. Last year its activities included a dinner-bridge, the yearly Christmas party for the children of the faculty and alumni, and the traditional sponsorship of Charter Day. To keep those far away aware of alumni and of University activities, the Alumni Review is published four times each year. In recent years the war curtailed some of the association's activities, but with over one thousand of its members returning from overseas, the Association believes that Back-to-Normal means a larger and more active membership.
