Through the medium of rigid inspection of all meat and dairy products by Veterinarians working under local, state or federal supervision, the lives and welfare of all are protected. Not only are the finished products carefully watched but also the conditions under which they were pro- duced and the animals from which they were produced. Without this important phase of Veterinary Science the high standards of living of the present would be impossible. FEAT
