Although we have spent but a short time in the work you have just hnished, we have encountered many difficulties in our attempts to master the intricate problems relative to living organ- isms and Natures methods. From these- difficulties, and from the experience we have thus far gained, we can appreciate the hard work you have mastered. You have set a high standard for the guidance of succeeding classes, and nothing short of our best endeavors will suffice to establish us or1 the high plane you have attained. However, we are determined that through no neglect on our part shall this standard be lowered, and our aim shall be to set up even higher ideals for our successors.
