Dr. E. Mosser Chairman of the Department Periodontics The program of this department is built upon a solid founda- tion of anatomy, histology, physiology of the periodontium and related stomatognathic system. The student is taught to look for and recognize incipient clinical changes from normalp preven- tion of disease is a prime objective. All treatment procedures are based upon an appreciation of the tissue changes underlying that particular clinical problem. Dr. Mosser, who has been at the College since 1963, is regarded by both students and faculty members alike as having done much to elevate periodontics to its rightful position of importance along with the other depart- ments here at school.
