He is a man who is untiring in his endeavors to present to the students, the intricacies of Digestion, Circulation, et al, in a clear, concise and comprehensive manner. His dissertations, on the digestion of a glass of niilkg or a ham and egg' sandwich are wonderful to say the least. and, as hc states, he has never had any of the students fail in his subject on the State Iloard. Dr. VVhitc has a great capacity for work and politics. His lec- tures a1'e always characterized by a display of dry wit, and it is need- less to say that his repartee is held in great respect by students of all classes. 16
