As the returns started coming in, the students and faculty knew that the months of work had not been enough. Wlien Omaha voters went to the polls April 23rd to vote on OUVS mill levy increase from two to four mills, they wrote an unhappy end to the hours spent calling alums, canvasing neighborhoods with pamphlets and GATEWAYS and patrolling the polls handing out more information.
