Two such men at OU are VVilliam H. Carson and H. H. Herbert. Carson retired this school year af- ter 25 years with the College of En- gineering which he developed into one of the finest in the nation. Herbert, also retired, founded the top-notch School of Journalism and in his honor the school is oflicially the H. H. Herbert School of jour- nalism. He came to OU in l928. The College of Engineering has outgrown its traditional quarters, old Felgar hall, which will soon be sllppleinented by a new engineeringgg center.
