The university's new 532,700,000 Bizzell Memo- rial library addition was constructed with student comfort and accessibility in mind. The library fea- tures open stacksg before the stacks were closed to students. With the new system, students may find their own books, with the help of a massive Card catalog located on the ground floor. Each Hoor of the new library is arranged for a specific type of study: history, languages, the arts, Zoology, etc. Lining the Walls of the floors are soundproof faculty studies, private typing rooms and individual desks for students. Smoking is permitted in nearly every section of the new library.
