Com- pletion ol the S604,000 air-conditioned structure on the south oval climaxed a 35-year campaign of countless state publishers, faculty members and supporters of the school. The 183-foot main Wing, which runs east and West, contains the newsroom of the Oklahoma Daily, SOONER YEARBOOK offices, advertising offices and classrooms, publi- cations business oliice and the professional writing depart- ment. Classrooms are situated on the second and third iioors with administrative and faculty oiiices in the south wing. The one-story composing and pressroom annex is north of the main wing. Iournalism students are now enjoying the ultimate in modern classroom and lab facilities.
