N May 24, 1943, the hrst contingent of soldiers who were to be trained under the army specialized training program arrived on the campus of the university. The soldiers, under this program, were to attend special school under the academic instruction of the faculty of the College of Engineering with school terms of 12-Weeks length. The program on thc campus grew from a small beginning, a limited number of enlisted men and only 9 officers, to the staff of ollicers shown below and the enlisted men shown on the following 24 pages.
