Kraettli, secretary ot the University, has been connected with the school for the last twenty-tive years, helping the president with administrative duties and aiding students in beginning a college career. He is a member ot the Administrative Council and secre- tary to the Board ot Regents, aiding both groups in the exe- cution ci their rulings and policies. EMIL R. KRAETTLI Dr. M. L. Wardell took over the duties of presidential assistant in September, l937. His purpose is to aid President Bizzell in administrative detail and to serve as an adviser. Educational methods in other colleges and universities are being studied by Mr. War- dell With the purpose ot applying these modern ideas to lite and training at the University of Oklahoma. STUDENT REGISTRATION George E. Wadsack, registrar of the university, and his staff assistants are charged with the re- sponsibility of enrollment checking and approval and of the distribution of catalogs and other univer- GEORGE E' WADSACK sity bulletins. l-le was appointed to a university position in 1919 and became official registrar in li-326. Mr. Wadsack serves on the Administrative Council, which aids the president in the determination of administrative, legislative and judi- cial acts. The registry office keeps records of students attending the university and has charge of the compilation of grades. The activities of the office are heavy throughout the year and espe- cially during the summer months when information about the uni- versity is in great demand. ' The first semester of this rr year a record number of over 6,300 students passed through the registry office during university enrolment. lnformation contained in en- rollment books is carefully checked and cards distributed to the proper in- structors or administrative heads.
