HE Men's Council and the Women's Self-Government Association are to the University of Oklahoma what the two houses of Congress in Washington are to the United States. Besides an executive branch made up of its president, vice-president and secretary, the Men's Council contains five members representing the College of Arts and Sciences, four from the College of Engineering, three from the College of Business Administration, two from the School of Law, and one each from the Colleges of Eine Arts and Education and the Graduate and Pharmacy Schools. Administrative guide of the Women's Self-Government Association is its Executive Board composed of the president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer, one representative from each wornen's organization, and six representatives-at-large. Both Dean Findlay and Miss Stephenson concentrate their efforts on freshmen in the hope of aiding them in scholarly and social pursuits. Their files, constantly in the process of revision, contain a per- sonal record of every first-year man and woman including a summary of scholastic achievements, out- side interests and extra-curricular activities, personal ratings, and vocational and personal information. Reference to and utilization of these files enable them to administer sound and practical advice.
