State Regents Boost Tuition Fee ITT? r l'il7:g.'.' ' l P, . .J ,1 1 l .Q Chancellor for the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education is Dr. E. T. Dunlap, who completes his seventh year in this position. Pausing during a meeting of the Oklahoma State Regents were Clyde Wheeler, John J. Vatcr jr., G Ellis Gable, Mrs. Jewell Dit- A tuition hike was a major step taken this year by the Oklahoma State Regents for High- er Education. The increase boosted resident enrolment fees from S9 a semester hour to S12 and non-resident fee and tuition costs from S323 to 330. Avoiding duplication in academic programs and coordinating higher education were two of their purposes. Chairman of the Regents was Donald S. Kennedy of Oklahoma City. Also serving were Clyde A. Wheeler, Tulsa, vice-chairman, I-larry P. Conroy, Duncan, secretary, and Ex- all English, Lawton, assistant secretary. Other Regents were R. L. Crowder Jr., Tonkawa, Mrs. S. E. Ditmars, Muskogee , C. Ellis Cable, Tulsa, f-William T. Payne, Oklahoma City, John J. Vater Jr., Enid. Chancellor was Dr. E. T. Dunlap, while vice-chancellor was Dr. john Coflelt, both of Oklahoma City. mars, Dr. George L.
