THE SE IOR Cl SS When setting forth on a journey it is with some effort that we can overcome our reluctance in direct- ing our attention from the future to the past. Yet it is well worth while at such a time to pause and eval- uate the preparatory forces which have shaped the attitude with which this new adventure is anticipated. It has been said that those men and women en- tering the study of medicine are a select group of earnest and dedicated students, but this alone can never make a physician. The shaping of a person- ality for man's most noble profession in four years can be only a pointing of the way. It is with confidence and pride that the members of this graduating class review our years of prepara- tion and formal study. We will cherish forever the friendships and associations formed at the School of Medicine. We hope that the realization of some part of the ideals and methods instilled in us in these four years will reward the faculty's devotion to our training. Left to right: R. C.
