First semester Brigade C0mmander, Cadet Colonel James Shirey is a sociology major and member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. Though born in Norman, Jim has lived the typical Army brata' life, moving from place to place, He plans to make the Army a career, choosing infrantry for his branch assignment. Jim participated in the flight pro- gram in conjunction with ROTC and was selected as a Dis- tinguished Military Student. C adel Brzgade Commanders Shoulder Command 9 Cadet Colonel Harry M. Turner took charge as the sec- ond semester Brigade Commander. Harry is a chemical engineering major from Dallas, Texas. After fulfilling his two year military obligation in Air Defense Artillery, he plans to return to graduate school to get his Masters Degree in engineering. Harry is a member of Sigma Tau, an honor- ary engineering society and was co-chairman for the Engi- neer Week Open House. He is also a member of S.A.M.E. and is a Distinguished Military Student.
