n 1986 COMMISSION IN 17 May 1986 marked the day on which 65 Notre Dame seniors received their commissions in the United States Navy or Ma- rine Corps. In a combined cere- mony with the Army and Air Force Units at the University of Notre Dame the Navy Options were sworn in by CAPT John D. Rohrbough and the Marine Op- tions were sworn in by Brigadier General Deegan.
