CAPT Rohrbough is a Naval Academy graduate from Glen- ville, West Virginia. His Naval career has included CO tours on the USS WOODPECKER QMSC-2095, a coastal mine- sweeper, and the frigate, USS THOMAS C. HART QFF- 10925. CAPT Rohrbough re- ceived a Masters degree in Air Ocean Environment from the US Navy Postgraduate School in Monterey and is also a graduate of the Armed Forces Staff Col- lege. In his four years as CO of NROTC Unit, Notre Dame, CAPT Rohrbough has made the Unit one of the best NROTC Units in the entire nation. in his first year as XO of NROTC Notre Dame, taking over the position this past Febru- college education at the University of Illinois, and completed his Baccalaureate Degree at Nebraska. Before graduation CDR Worms enrolled as an Avia- tion Officer Candidate, and after receiving his degree he entered flight training. After designation as a Navy Pilot, he was assigned to helicopter Flight Attack Squadron Three, RUN, where he participated in over 400 combat missions. After his second operational tour he was selected for post graduate school, and ear- egree in Anti-Sub Warfare Systems He has served tours in HSL CLAMPSJ Squadrons on all classes of FF and DD type ships. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, CDR Worms was stationed at the Na- val Oceans Systems Center in San Diego where he served as military director for an advanced systems 3

FIR T CLASS TR CTOR LCDR R. K. HARTZELL, U LCDR Hartzell is a graduate of the NROTC Unit at the University of Kansas. He served in Vietnam directly after receiving his commission and then he applied for flight training and became a P- pilot. Prior to serving at Notre Dame LCDR Hartzell was stationed at the Naval Air Test Center, Pa- tuxent River, Maryland. In addition to teaching the First Class Midshipmen, LCDR Hartzell handles all the administrative de- tails in preparing the Midshipmen for their commissioning as Naval Officers. After a long career in the Navy, LCDR Hartzell is re- tiring from the Navy after this school year. This Unit will surely miss his great talents and we wish him the very best in his future civilian life. THIRD FOURTH CLASS TRUCTOR LCDR P. .RATHBU , LCDR Rathbun earned a BA in English and a Masters in Li- brary Science from C. W. Post College in New York. In 1975 she enrolled in OCS and then served at the Naval Facility Barbers Point, Oahu, as Oceanographic Research Watch Officer. Her previous assignment was as Pro- tocol and Administrative Officer at Naval Station New York. In addition to her duties as one of the fourth class advisors, LCDR Rathbun teaches both third and fourth class midshipmen and serves as advisor for both the IRISH WAKE and IRISH PEN- NANT. 4 if 0' 5 5--. . ..f:. .
