De- spite the cold temperatures, many midshipmen braved the elements to give the fans their fill of hot dogs, hamburgers, and Captain Sweeney's ever popular hot apple cider. The bountiful profits filled the Navy!Marine Corps' trea- sury, while the midshipmen did their duty of filling the fans empty stomachs. I STAND RELIEVEDH MIDN 2fC Shereda and Shebroe provide the customers with the food they want. 'Y X 5 X ff Q X Lid, f E5-'L' These Mids could be hired as chefs from the looks of lt. The hot apple cider definitely was the best seller.

CAPT Sweeney and LT Ehlers enjoy the food at the smoker 'NX The annual smoker was held for the ND-Penn State game this year and although the out- come of the game was not very good the Midshipmen in at- tendance had a good time and at least enjoyed the food and camaraderie even if they didn't enjoy the manner in which the Fightin' Irish played the game.
