DINING-I The Battalion held its annual Dining-in on 18 April and as al- ways everyone had a great time. After a social hour, the meal be- gan and the beef was declared to be fit for human consumption by the President of the Mess, MIDN CAPT John Abitabilo. After a fine meal, Vice Admiral Nils R. Thunman, Chief of Na- val Education and Training, ad- dressed the Battalion. Next came the Toasting portion of the celebration during which many things were toasted, including the Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Army, retiring SKC's and LCDR's fin honor of Chief Darrah and LCDR Hartzellj, and newly selected Majors in the Marine Corps Cin honor of CAPT Sweeneyl.
