RIFLE A D PI TOL TEAM The Rifle and Pistol Team is in its second year of existence under the watchful eye of Gunny Betancourt. The team captains are MIDN 3!C Goebel and Sand- ler. The team competes in mail correspondence tournaments with other units. The main pur- pose of the team is to stress training with the weapons which all of the Midshipmen will find entering into their Naval Car- eers. 4 DRILL TEA The drill team is performing their maneuvers for the reviewing officer. The Notre Dame Drill Team is only in its second year of existence but has had a very successfull year. On 12 April the team traveled to Bowling Green to compete in a national meet and finished in third place.
