MIDN 1!C Bowen is trying to make them laugh. While wallowing in the mud is not too many people's idea of a way to spend a weekend, it seemed to suit the Battalion's Marine Options just fine. With the campus sleeping on an otherwise peaceful Saturday morn- ing, the MO's were already enjoying a small taste of Bull dog. Run by the Senior Marines, the orientation is designed to give the Marines a feel for their branch of the service, while testing their endur- ance and courage. On the itinerary were events like training manuevers, forced marches, and PF T's. All of the events served to develop the sense of camaraderie that is so essen- tial for the Marines to remain the world s greatest fighting force MIDN 1fC Fuka makes sure everyone has everything. MIDN l!C Leary checks that everyone is going to sleep at attention. MIDN UC Lauson and Bowen are making life difficult for MIDN 3fC Rossi.
